Mission Critical Operations Readiness Program

A Shared Foundation for the Data Center Industry

The GOR Mission Critical Operations Readiness Program is a flexible, vendor neutral, and industry developed training experience that builds broad foundational knowledge across the electrical, mechanical, safety, security, and operational systems supporting mission critical facilities.

Designed for both new and experienced professionals, the program establishes a safe and consistent knowledge baseline before company, site, equipment, and role specific qualification begins. It serves as a starting point for people who operate, secure, maintain, design, or support data center environments and prepares learners to pursue the independent Certified Mission Critical Operator® certification examination.

Industry Content

Mission Critical Global Alliance provides the industry developed training content that forms the foundation of the program.

Learning and Delivery

The GOR Group, as an authorized training provider, enhances and delivers the content through virtual or in person instruction, practical exercises, assessments, and learner support.

CABEM, our learning management system partner, provides the technology that makes the virtual learning experience accessible and scalable.

Operational Handoff

Steadfast Operations supports the transition from foundational learning into deeper site, role, equipment, and process specific training. Its operational assessment across 27 areas can help identify qualification needs, readiness gaps, and opportunities for continued improvement.

Independent Certification

After completing the GOR program, eligible learners have the opportunity to pursue the independent CMCO® certification examination.

GSX is the owner and administrator of the CMCO® certification and independently determines whether certification requirements have been met.

Learners study seven related areas that show how people, systems, procedures, documentation, and communication work together in mission critical environments. Safety is reinforced throughout the learning experience, not treated as a stand-alone topic. Production never overrides safety.

All formats use the same foundational content, the difference is in how much live & virtual instructor access, certification intent and scheduling is included.

Self-Paced

Independent access to the GOR learning management system without scheduled instructor sessions. Learners move through content on their own timeline.

Self-Paced With Office Hours

Independent learning with scheduled live virtual access to GOR instructors for questions, clarification, and discussion. Flexibility with a support layer when you need it.

Full Training Support

Structured learning with LMS coursework, live virtual or in-person instruction, practical application, assessment, and learner support. Available in a condensed two-week format, a four-week standard format based, or custom needs.

Experienced mission critical professionals receive 30 days of self-paced access to examine assigned content, identify technical or operational concerns, and provide structured feedback on accuracy, clarity, and practical alignment.
